This is Panthera spelaea, AKA the cave lion. This original skeleton was found in Goyet Cave, Belgium. The skeleton is almost complete and perfect for #MammalMonday There’s also a bonus mighty Megaloceros too. I love the skull. The transition into the wonderful artwork by Julio Lacerda is very nice.
