New vireo just dropped! 🎉 You read that right—the annual eBird Taxonomy Update has arrived and Warbling Vireo is now Western Warbling Vireo and Eastern Warbling Vireo. Eastern and Western Warbling Vireos overlap from Alberta through the U.S. Rocky Mountains and high plains to Texas, south through Mexico to Central and South America.
