Linda Jones (1944-1972) was an American soul singer known for her strong, gospel-influenced vocal style. She was born in Newark, New Jersey, and began singing at age six in her family's gospel group, the Jones Singers. ~Her most famous song is "Hypnotized," which became a top 10 R&B hit and reached No. 21 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1967.
