Knowing how water freezes in three main stages is very important when learning how to do my freezing technique. Thanks to the amazing Stuart Ferrier for allowing me to use his video of water freezing from liquid to ice. It is obviously sped up, but gives fantastic visual information of how the first freeze has the most clarity and formative structures, which get clouded over by the other two stages. The dark bubbles are always a sign of over freezing when it comes to my crystallographic work. #s
