An enjoyable morning today visiting the Middleburg Thoroughbred Training centre catching up with leading Virginia-based trainer Neil R. Morris and yesterday's senior judge at the Virginia Thoroughbred Futurity Cary Frommer. There's around 200 horses, a mix of flat and steeplechase horses trained there. The latter discipline is hugely popular around the area and neighbouring states. | Paul Moroney
