The King and Queen Polka Dance Contest is sponsored by SPJST and will be held Friday, May 28 at the KJT Hall in Ennis. Doors will open at 6:00pm and the Dance Contest starts at 9:00pm. National Polka Festival King and Queen Contest will be held at the KJT Hall in Ennis on May 24, 2019. So dust off your dancing shoes and plan on competing this year. Couples should plan to register for the contest at the entrance of the KJT Hall before 8:30 p.m. A Czech costume or “fancy” dancing is not a requirement for the contest, but winners will need a Czech costume for the remainder of the weekend. The “Polka Princess” contest will be held. Contestants between the ages of 6 to 10 years old
