In 2 Corinthians 7 Paul tells us, “Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.” What kind of sorrow do you have? When you have worldly sorrow, the focus is on yourself when you sin. When you have godly sorrow, you’re grieved that you’ve broken the heart of the One you love.
