6:40 PM Radar Update: There are some showers in western parts of SWLA, but luckily that rain is light and limited to some light mist or showers at heaviest. Activity should continue to break up as we head towards fireworks time, but it wouldn’t be shocking if a few stragglers are still around in the western half of the area. Continuing to track the threat of severe weather as we are going into the overnight hours as the main line of showers and storms moves closer. Temperatures though will be very warm as we top off in the middle to upper 70's across the area.
