Fall is the best time of year to find tarantulas out and about...as well as their arch-nemesis, the TARANTULA HAWK! The tarantula hawk is a wasp species that preys on tarantulas, paralyzing them with a powerful sting to feed them to their young. One of our volunteers, David, captured this video of a tarantula hawk who had stung and paralyzed a tarantula and was carrying it off to a burrow. David shot this awesome clip at Joseph D.
