We remain on track for wintry weather in eastern NC this weekend. The precipitation will likely start around sunset Saturday as light snow and sleet for most areas. We'll see a changeover to freezing rain and rain Saturday night. The rain to freezing rain line will likely set up somewhere around highway 17 (give or take) on Sunday with most areas changing to primarily rain Sunday night. The last of the precipitation will exit the coast around sunrise Monday with a run of very cold days to follow
