This is Amazing !! You are looking at a very large hinged Atlantic Cockle shell. The little white things inside of the cockle are Octopus eggs 🐙….Octopus only lay eggs one time …after that she will watch over her eggs until they hatch then she passes away . The reason she dies is because after she lays her eggs she stops eating and puts all of her energy into protecting her eggs . Sometimes before the eggs hatch the mom will pass away … after laying eggs sometimes starts to self mutilate by tea
