BARBADOS HAS ALREADY BEEN HIT BY A TSUNAMI If you think Barbados is immune to tsunamis, think again. In fact, the island has been hit by one already, according to Acting Director of the Coastal Zone Management Unit, Dr. Lorna Inniss. She says it happened more than two centuries ago. The event, she says, was reported by a ship's captain and recorded in a news letter.
