Today, March 29, is World Piano Day! In honor of today, Howard printed an image from a cut that is solid type metal (lead alloy). The cut is from case of miscellaneous cuts that were previously used in Stockton High School’s print shop class. Nevertheless, we hope Jack Hanna and his Orchestra drew a huge crowd whenever they performed! The owners of the newspaper, Frank Hatton and Beriah Wilkins, asked John Philip Sousa, then leader of the "The President's Own" United States Marine Band, to compose a march for the award ceremony.
