Apr 23, 2020 · press the mute button for the mic on the adapter. orange light comes on; if not then take out mic/USB cable, adapter, and then battery from the controller. wait for a bit, reattach battery, then USB, then adapter, then mic cable to adapter. Everything should now be default. Then set audio levels for the headset (make sure loudness is maxed).

May 6, 2019 · Option 1: Start a party, unplug the USB from the back of the base, plug it back in. Usually, I get a notification that the headset is assigned. If Option 1 doesn't work: Go to Settings>Kinect and Devices>Headset>Assign to a second account>Sign-out of second account>Headset works.

Feb 13, 2020 · NEED HELP. Most noticeably playing call of duty modern warfare the directional audio from my headset is reversed, which forces me to wear the headset backwards. When its on backwards it sounds correct. I have tried 3 different headsets all with the same issue. Since most headsets do not have reversible mics, the mic ends up behind my head.
