Ajit Anantrao Pawar [a] [2] (Marathi pronunciation: [əd͡ʒit̪ pəʋaːɾ]; born 22 July 1959) [3] is an Indian politician serving as the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra along with Eknath Shinde under Devendra Fadnavis since 5 December 2024.

President of Pune District Education Board – Since September 2006 & Maharashtra Olympic Association – Since March 2013. Vidhansabha Member : 1991 to 1995, 1995 to 1999, 1999 to 2004, 2004 to 2009, 2009 to September 2014, 2014 to 26 th September 2019. Re-electedin October 2019 by a margin of 1,65,265 votes.
