SA-born Australian Open chief Craig Tiley is stepping down after a “transformative” tenure to run the US Tennis Association.

Tiley has been tournament director of the Australian Open since 2006 and Tennis Australia CEO since 2013. He'll remain in the role while Tennis Australia appoints his successor.
