The Chicago Blackhawks have recalled top prospect Artyom Levshunov to the NHL roster. This marks the second call-up of the 2024 second-overall pick’s young career.

Levshunov is expected to play games for the Hawks this time, possibly as soon as Monday against the Avalanche.

Mrázek is open to being traded ahead of Friday’s deadline, but that might be a long shot, given his cap hit ($4.25 million), the extra year he has left, and the Blackhawks’ inability to retain salary on any more contracts. So he might have to wait for a summer trade or buyout. In the meantime, he plans on being a good pro.
