CLEVELAND, Ohio — Minnesota’s offense erupted early against Joey Cantillo and the Guardians, building a four-run lead in the first inning that proved insurmountable as the Twins handed Cleveland a 5-4 loss Sunday at Progressive Field.

The Minnesota Twins fell to the Cleveland Guardians 3-2 on Friday night after Kyle Manzardo singled home Brayan Rocchio with one out in the 10th inning for his second walk-off hit of the season.

Trevor Larnach had a two-run in a four-run first inning and the Minnesota Twins beat the Cleveland Guardians 5-4 on Sunday to avoid a three-game sweep.
