A water advisory for the City of Port Angeles was lifted Sunday evening after a tanker truck rolled into a nearby creek.

A major fuel spill in Port Angeles has led to a "Do Not Drink" water order for all city water customers after a semi-truck carrying 10,000 gallons of fuel overturned into Indian Creek. Residents are advised to use bottled water for all consumption and food preparation,

The advisory was the response to a Friday fuel tanker crash at Indian Creek Basin. The creek feeds into Elwha River, the city’s main potable water source.
