By Nate Raymond BOSTON (Reuters) -Lawyers for Harvard University urged a federal judge on Monday to extend an order blocking President Donald Trump's plan to bar foreign nationals from entering the United States to study at Harvard University.

The federal court hearing in Boston is in response to several attempts by the Trump administration to prevent Harvard from enrolling international students or allowing them to enter the country to study. The university began its second lawsuit against the federal government last month.

The university is hoping for a broad court order that would keep the White House from using workarounds to prevent foreign enrollment.
