A Coast Guard helicopter crew rescued 15 migrants on a drifting vessel southwest of San Diego Tuesday. In the morning, federal officials received a report of a disabled boat adrift and in need of rescue about 60 miles off the San Diego shore, Coast Guard officials said.

Authorities are rushing to rescue someone who went through the ice on Lake Chemung in Howell on Wednesday afternoon.
