Sweden's defence minister said on Thursday the Nordic country had agreed to donate its biggest aid package to Ukraine so far, worth 13.5 billion Swedish crowns ($1.23 billion). The aid package is Sweden's 18th since Russia launched a large-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022.

The Nordic country will double the amount of Stridsbåt 90 combat boats it's donating from Swedish armed forces stocks to 32 boats, among other things.

Sweden is to provide Ukraine with its largest ever military aid program. Its value is SEK 13.5 billion (around $1.25 billion), according to the Swedish Ministry of Defense. It should be noted that this package will also strengthen Ukraine's long-range capabilities.
