Israel ‘hits Tehran centrifuges’ after officials say Trump is considering joining strikes - Israeli strikes killed nearly 600 in Iran as conflict between the two nations enters a sixth day

Iran and Israel launched new missile strikes at each other on Wednesday as the air war between the two longtime enemies entered a sixth day despite a call from U.S. President Donald Trump for Iran's unconditional surrender.

Israel identified and struck missile launchers in Iran overnight, the Israel Defense Forces said Sunday morning. "Over the past hour, the IAF completed an additional series of strikes on storage and missile launch infrastructure sties in western Iran," the IDF said in an update on the Telegram messaging app at about 8 a.m. in Israel.

Israel attacked Iranian state television after Iran fired another wave of missiles at Israel on the fourth day of open warfare between the regional foes.

Blasts have been heard in Tehran and sirens have sounded in Israel as US president convenes National Security Council.

The Iran-Israel conflict has shuttered airspace across the Middle East as the two bitter enemies launch attacks and reprisals at one another
