An Idaho law that keeps men out of women’s dormitories and restrooms on public college campuses is being challenged in court.

Plaintiffs are organizations in 13 states plus D.C. serving domestic violence, sexual assault survivors, LGBTQ+ youth, and unhoused people.

The dismissal of the lawsuit comes after the June 18, 2025 decision by the U.S. Supreme Court in United States v. Skrmetti, which upheld a law in Tennessee that is similar to Idaho’s.
