Releasing Jarrett had to sting for Falcons owner Arthur Blank. The veteran was the face of the defense and locker room leader in Atlanta.

Jarrett, who turns 32 on April 28, played all 17 games last season after recovering from a torn ACL that cut his 2023 campaign short. He finished the 2024 season with 2.5 sacks, 53 combined tackles, nine tackles for loss, and 12 quarterback hits.
