Mikayla Blakes scored 19 points to lead five Commodores in double figures and No. 13 Vanderbilt overcame a slow start to remain undefeated, beating South Florida 87-58.

Vanderbilt has won 24 consecutive non-conference home games dating back to 2022. Under head coach Shea Ralph, Vanderbilt is 37-3 at Memorial Gymnasium. It will be the fifth time that Vanderbilt and South Florida have squared off. The Commodores are a perfect 4-0 in the all-time series.

Vanderbilt women's basketball moved up one spot to No. 13 in the AP Poll after not playing this week. The Commodores (9-0) haven't had a game since Dec. 3, in which they defeated Virginia in the ACC/SEC Challenge. Vanderbilt is set to take on South Florida (6-4) at Memorial Gymnasium on Dec. 15 (6:30 p.m. CT, SEC Network+).
