Former UConn student manager Mark Daigneault is looking to become the sixth former Husky to have won an NBA championship.

The Oklahoma City Thunder tied up the 2025 NBA Finals with a dominant 123-107 Game 2 win over the Indiana Pacers on Sunday. OKC bounced back from a stunning Game 1 loss, in which the Pacers erased a 15-point fourth-quarter deficit.

As have their respective governors, the school superintendents of the Oklahoma City and Indianapolis districts have a wager on the NBA Finals.

Thundor's distractions haven't been as successful for the home team during this current Thunder run, however. Entering Game 1 of the NBA Finals, opponents shot 79.3% from the free throw line at Paycom Center, the fourth highest among road venues this postseason, according to ESPN Research.

With the NBA Finals coming to town, Oklahoma City will soon be visited by celebrities who may be looking to explore the local food scene.
