Lewis Hamilton revealed he ran over a groundhog – which damaged his Ferrari car – in Sunday’s Canadian Grand Prix. Hamilton started the Montreal race in fifth and looked to be on course for a positive 70 laps, before his grand prix has impacted early on.

During the Canadian Grand Prix race weekend, Ferrari driver Lewis Hamilton showed up on a motorcycle that turned heads and posed questions.

Hamilton, who was running well inside the top five, suffered a mysterious loss of pace after Lap 13. Sky Sports F1’s Karun Chandhok later revealed that Hamilton had been carrying car damage from that moment on, specifically, a 20-point loss of downforce.
