Mondo Duplantis has raised his pole vault world record to 6.29 meters at the Istvan Gyulai Memorial meet in Budapest.

Sweden's Armand 'Mondo' Duplantis raised his own pole vault world record to 6.29 metres at the Budapest athletics meet on Tuesday, marking the 13th time he has broken the mark and his third record-setting jump of 2025.

Duplantis accounts for 32 of the 44 competitions where an athlete has cleared at least 6.10m, and is on a winning streak of 36 meets.
