The Golden State Warriors lost Jimmy Butler to a painful injury in the first quarter of their Game 2 loss to the Houston Rockets on Wednesday night, and his status for the rest of the series will be better known after his MRI on Thursday.

Jimmy Butler converted three free throws with 58.7 seconds left, grabbed the game-clinching rebound with 4 seconds to go and then made two more free throws on the way to 27 points in his return from a pelvic injury,

The play in question happened in Game 2. Butler went up for a defensive rebound after Thompson missed a shot. However, Thompson, who was nudged by Green as he rushed for an offensive board, ended up taking out Butler's legs. Both players stayed down for a moment before Butler left the game for good.
