Washington fans can sometimes be an impatient bunch. When free agency opened Monday at Noon, many fans expected the Commanders to be busy. Things started fast when Washington signed defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw. The shocker came later when the Commanders traded draft picks for Houston Texans left tackle Laremy Tunsil.

To begin to retool, Commanders General Manager Adam Peters has turned to the veteran free-agent market and trade opportunities. Before free agency, he agreed to trade for wide receiver Deebo Samuel and signed a few of Washington’s key veterans from last season. His moves since have been significant, and won’t soon end.

The Washington Commanders enter free agency with 24 players hitting the market. That does not include the release of defensive tackle Jonathan Allen nor re-signings such as Bobby Wagner and Zach Ertz.
