Major religious and artistic treasures of the cathedral were removed as the fire began, including a relic of Christ’s crown of thorns.

Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris welcomed restored bells as the iconic landmark continues restoration following a massive fire in 2019 with the public opening scheduled for Dec. 8.
