The Patriots spent Tuesday interviewing Chicago Bears interim coach Thomas Brown for their vacant post, MassLive confirmed. Brown was first promoted to offensive coordinator when the Bears fired Shane Waldron, and later was named interim head coach after Matt Eberflus was let go.

It didn't take very long for the New England Patriots to identify their choice to be their next head coach and that man is former Patriot, Mike Vrabel.

Mike Vrabel made a triumphant return to New England as head coach of the Patriots on Monday. A former linebacker and Super Bowl champion under Bill Belichick, Vrabel said he felt the move back to Foxborough was right "in his soul.
