DULUTH — A St. Louis County Jail inmate died at a hospital Friday, three days after he was found unresponsive in his cell.
Gordon Lawrence Allen, Jr. – also known as Tex, Larry, and to many, simply Gordy – age 81, of Fountain, Minn., died Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at Avia Riverbend Memory Care in Rochester.
