The Kraken must trade their pending free agents at the NHL trade deadline, including Brandon Tanev and Yanni Gourde.

Besides dealing Alex Wennberg in 2024, the Kraken kept their players at the NHL trade deadline the past two years. That tradition is expected to end this week.

The goalie matchup should be Kevin Lankinen for Vancouver against Joey Daccord for the Kraken. Daccord’s numbers have been ugly over this recent stretch of games. He's 1-1-0, but is skating to a .875 save percentage with a 4.01 goals against average.
