Medical malpractice reform backed by GOP lawmakers with ties to the health care industry has been gutted after public outcry.

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — A newly released bill in the Utah legislature would protect Utah’s doctors if they wanted to object to providing a non-life-threatening medical service based on their “medical, moral, religious, or ethical beliefs.”
