Wembanyama becomes only the fourth Spurs player to make the All-Star Game in his first or second season. The others: Alvin Robertson in 1986, David Robinson in 1990 and 1991, and Tim Duncan in 1998.

With the NBA trade deadline coming up on Feb. 6, one big mess in Miami has dominated much of the discussion. That's not the only storyline that could shape the second half of the season, though, so let's take a look at what else is going on.

Herro was tuned in to TNT's Inside The NBA as the All-Star Game reserves were announced, clearly nervous to hear the results. The second that Ernie Johnson said that the final Eastern Conference selection would come from the Miami Heat, however, Herro immediately burst into celebration.

The new NBA 2K25 Player Ratings Update has dropped just before February, with players on all 30 teams receiving an adjustment. Many players, like LeBron James, Damian Lillard, and Anthony Edwards saw a nice boost to their OVR.

This is an extremely well-deserved nod for the 25 year-old, former Kentucky Wildcats star. In his sixth season, Herro has exploded as an offensive juggernaut for Miami, averaging 24.1 points, 5.6 rebounds and 5.4 assists. Now he heads out West for the NBA's All-Star Game.

The Detroit Pistons have their NBA All-Star as franchise player Cade Cunningham has been named an Eastern Conference reserve.

The reigning rookie of the year is an NBA All-Star for the first time, with the 21-year-old from France one of the 14 players announced Thursday night as members of the reserve pool for the midseason exhibition that will take place Feb. 16 at the home of the Golden State Warriors in San Francisco.

Evan Mobley was rewarded with his first All-Star appearance, and he celebrated with this slam. The Cavaliers are blowing out the Hawks on TNT. Mobley has 16 points, 10 rebounds and four assists.

Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo led all players in the final fan voting (4,435,266) to represent the Eastern Conference for the ninth time in his career. Denver Nuggets forward Nikola Jokić earned his seventh All-Star nod as the lead vote-getter in the Western Conference (3,724,344).
