Jason Robertson had one of three first-period goals plus a third-period assist and Jake Oettinger made 33 saves as the Dallas Stars beat the Detroit Red Wings 4-1 on Sunday night.

The NHL did the Stars no favors with their January schedule. To start 2025, Dallas has 15 games in 30 days this month, including three back-to-backs. It’s part of a condensed schedule to account for the Finland trip and two weeks off in February for the 4 Nations break.
