After devastating wildfires tore through Los Angeles, the 97th Academy Awards are going forward. Like the Grammys and other awards shows this year, the ceremony will be transformed by the fires and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has pledged to help its members and the broader film community recover.

The 97th Oscar Awards are set to raise their curtain in a few hours. Ahead of the big night, the presenters, including Andrew Garfield, Ana de Armas, and Oprah Winfrey, among others, have shared behind the scenes from their rehearsals at the Dolby Theaters.

After Stone, Winfrey made her way to the stage wearing sky high heels — presumably to practice navigating the long stage in the heels she’s wearing to the show. She and her presenting partner, Whoopi Goldberg, elicited a rare standing ovation from the people in the room — an array of production staff, camera people and publicists.
