The holiday week means uniform heat all around the NFL in Week 17, led by a monochromatic look from the Minnesota Vikings.
The Minnesota Vikings proved they can win ugly games, defeating the Detroit Lions on Christmas Day. Lions quarterback Jared Goff had no answer for Minnesota's defense on Thursday night. He completed 18-of-29 pass attempts for 197 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions.
Smith’s interception was one of six turnovers the Vikings forced in a 23-10 victory over Detroit that came almost solely because of their aggressive defense.
The Vikings accomplished the rare feat of winning an NFL game 23-10 while finishing with fewer than 10 net passing yards.
