A suspect has been charged with multiple counts of murder and police are continuing their investigation after 11 people were killed when an SUV plowed through a crowd at a Filipino heritage festival in Vancouver over the weekend.

A deadly attack at a Vancouver street festival celebrating Filipino culture has left many Northerners shaken, scared and grieving.

A 30-year-old Vancouver man was arrested at the scene and the department’s Major Crime Section is overseeing the investigation, police said.
