It's rare to see an extension-needy star player avoid taking a holdout route during a mandatory phase of the offseason, but the Dallas Cowboys have been fortunate enough to have Micah Parsons around the team as they fired up a multi-day minicamp.

Micah Parsons isn't holdout out. He's not griping. He's practicing and he's visiting with Jerry and he's instructing the Cowboys to cll his agent ... and Dak Prescott is keeping a watchful eye on the process.

While vice president Stephen Jones would push back on the idea, conventional wisdom is that the Dallas Cowboys have cost themselves money with their protracted negotiations with their top homegrown stars.
