Micah Parsons was harshly criticized by Skip Bayless, who believes the Dallas Cowboys are doing the right thing by holding off on a long-term contract.

Cowboys CEO and co-owner Stephen Jones briefly updated where negotiations stand last weekend with a comment that was quickly circulated and portrayed as the ball being in Parsons' court. "We want to pay Micah, too. He's gotta want to be paid," Jones said via The Athletic's Jon Machota.

Many around the NFL believe a long-term deal between Micah Parsons and the Dallas Cowboys is inevitable, but don't count Adam Schefter among those who do.
