Lawyers representing the family of John O’Keefe in the wrongful death lawsuit they are pursuing against Karen Read are asking a judge to force Read to give more information to support her claims that someone other than her is responsible for O’Keefe’s death.

Lifetime has three new ripped-from-the-headline movies premiering in January, including the new Kate Beckinsale and Scott Eastwood film Stolen Girl, Accused: The Karen Read Story, and I Am Mary Jo Buttafuoco.

"I believe that counsel for all involved have not made sufficient attempts to narrow areas of disagreement," the judge wrote in his order.

Karen Read was found not guilty of manslaughter and second-degree murder. Now she's suing former witnesses for defamation of her character.
