Whoopi Goldberg fell over in laughter when fellow comedian Bowen Yang floated the notion that Vice President JD Vance was involved in what one might call Pope Francis’ final benediction. Pope Francis died Monday at age 88.

Yang was reluctant to portray the Vice President on "SNL" even before Vance had the final meeting with Pope Francis the day before he died.

Pope Francis was a vocal critic of the Trump administrations’ mass deportations, and following his death, many online joked that it was his meeting with Vance that killed him. The official cause of death was a cerebral stroke, that sent the pope into a coma and heart failure.
