On Wednesday at 1:39 a.m. EST the National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning in effect until Thursday at 1 a.m. EST for Luce County.

A huge two-day winter storm dumped more than 20 inches of snow in Boston and across Massachusetts by the time it ended Monday night.
Bonito Lake, N.M., received 31 inches, the most in the United States this weekend, the agency said. East of the Mississippi, the highest totals were recorded in western Pennsylvania, where 20 inches had fallen near Clintonville, about 60 miles north of Pittsburgh, as of 8:30 p.m. Sunday.
A significant winter storm began Sunday morning and dropped as much as 20 inches of snow in Westfield as of mid-morning Monday, according to snowfall reports compiled by the National Weather Service.
More than a foot of snow has piled up across New York since Sunday morning as a massive winter storm hit New York. In some parts of the state, more snow is expected this week. Some spots could see as much as two feet by Tuesday evening, forecasters said.
