Roswell Police Officer Jeremy Labonte, who was fatally shot in a confrontation in a parking lot Friday night, was honored in 2023 for saving the life of a man who had suffered a massive heart attack in his home.

Roswell Mayor Kurt Wilson announced the funeral and processional arrangements for 24-year-old Officer Jeremy Labonte, who was shot and killed Feb. 7 while responding to a suspicious person report off Holcomb Bridge Road.

A Roswell police officer was killed while responding to a call about a suspicious person at a shopping center.

Family, friends and the law enforcement community will pay their final respects at the funeral service for Roswell Officer Jeremy Labonte. The 24-year-old officer was shot and killed in the line of duty on Friday responding to a suspicious person call.

On Wednesday, the community will say goodbye to a Roswell police officer who was killed in the line of duty last week.
