Hackers managed to gain control of the video game, crediting players with millions of dollars and forcing Ubisoft to temporarily shut down servers.
It’s only been a week since Rainbow Six Siege was hacked, and the servers are already back down after players were met with random bans.
Following the hacks over the holiday season, Rainbow Six Siege's marketplace and voice chat are still disabled.
Update: Ubisoft sent The Escapist this comment: “Rainbow Six Siege recently experienced a cyberattack causing limited disruptions, including fake ban notifications and unauthorized credit grants.
