Digest more
The AFC East entered Sunday as a two-team race, as the Bills and Patriots were fighting for the top of the division. With the Bills loss to the Dolphins, though, Buffalo remains in second place in the AFC East as they have now lost three of their last five games.
The Denver Broncos temporarily moved to the top of the AFC standings with their Thursday night win over the Las Vegas Raiders.
The NFC West had a really good Week 9. All four teams won their games. Of course, that means that nothing in the standings changed. The Seattle Seahawks are on top with a tiebreaker, while the Arizona Cardinals are in last place. Everyone but the Cardinals has six wins. The Cardinals have three.
The New York Jets likely took the Cincinnati Bengals out of the AFC North hunt with their upset win. The Dallas Cowboys' playoff chances took a massive hit with their loss to the Denver Broncos, while the Tampa Bay Buccaneers appear to be cruising toward their fifth straight NFC South title.
The Broncos are favored over Chiefs for the division, the Packers are favored over the Lions and Rams and Seahawks lead over 49ers.
