In some ways, the San Francisco 49ers had a relatively successful 2025 season, given how hard they were hit once again by the injury bug.

"I think it's safe to say that he's played his last snap with the Niners," Lynch said at the team's end-of-season news conference Wednesday.

Lynch noted that Jones’s attitude was also a big factor for the team, helping lift up the spirits with his personality and his play during that early-season stretch.
