The Seattle Seahawks might not be able to retain Kenneth Walker III in free agency, with one AFC contender emerging as a landing spot.
The former Michigan State running back is likely going to hit unrestricted free agency, with the Seahawks not expected to place a franchise tag on the 25-year-old, according to a report from ESPN’s Peter Schrager.
Whether or not he was a Heisman snub, the former Michigan State standout Walker owns plenty of hardware now. Not only a Super Bowl ring, as his Seattle Seahawks downed the New England Patriots 29-13 in Super Bowl 60. Walker also earned MVP honors with his 135-yard performance.
